Beginner's Course - Martial arts for Self Defence

There are many thousands of martial arts and combat sports - boxing, hapkido, kali, karate, kickboxing, sombo, tai chi and wrestling are some of the better known styles.

You can train in martial arts for fun, self-defence, fitness and co-ordination, or even for competition.

This course is designed for adult beginners, and will introduce you to a variety of Martial Art skills, with demonstrations and explanations of how they can be used in self defence situations. You will learn effective hand strikes and kicks, 'close quarter' and defensive skills from several different styles. The course will also include some fun exercises and drills to improve fitness and coordination.
