Mo TeagueMaurice 'Mo' Teague
'The Devil's Advocate' ~ British Combat Association (BCA) Senior Instructor.

Widely recognised as being a leading authority on Self-Protection, Mo' is a Jeet Kune Do (JKD) instructor under Richard Bustillo, IMB Academy (USA), and under Rick Faye, Minnesota Kali Group (USA). Mo' also served 15 years in the British Army, and saw active service 4 times, including intelligence and covert ops. With his military background, Mo' is frequently involved in training military personnel, including members of the Special Forces. In addition: Mo' is a former member of the Guardian Angels, has worked as a Bodyguard, and was a Doorman for 10 years. He has survived over 300 street encounters, including knife attacks, and is currently a regular Columnist for 'Martial Arts Illustrated' (MAI).

Steven BenitezSteven Benitez
Chief Instructor of Pencak Silat Hasilkan Penuh (Wali Songo Silat).

Steven has been training in the martial arts for 25 years, and in Silat for almost 20 of those years, his first teacher being Sifu Gerry Tann, who taught him Kuntao and Silat. Nine years later he met a remarkable woman Silat teacher, Guru Ma Prem of The Sphinx Esoteric University in Holland, with whom he continues to visit and maintain connection. During this time of training with Ma, Steven had also been to Indonesia to train with specialised teachers in other styles of Silat. Romo Hadiwijoyo from Tunggal Hati taught him the inner aspects of his Silat style. Pak Rusli St. Rajo Bansu taught him his family system Minangkabau Silek Angin and Guru Makmur Suradilaga of Padepokan Silat Asta Sunan Kalijaga taught him Cimande. Steven completed Silek Angin and Cimande and is now UK representative of both arts. Steven also currently writes a monthly Silat column in 'Martial Arts Illustrated' (MAI).

Ollie BattsOllie Batts
Co-founder and Senior Instructor of CAMA.

Following 2 years of Judo training, Ollie began Taekwondo training in 1973, and included Hapkido and Kuk Sool shortly after. In 1977, he became the first Englishman to gain Black Belt under the World Kuk Sool Association (WKSA). Ollie left the WKSA in 1989, as a 3rd Degree Black Belt, and one of the three leading (non-Korean) UK-based Kuk Sool instructors at that time. Since then, Ollie has gained instructor ranking in: CombatSombo (4th Degree Black Belt), under Grandmaster Martin Clarke of the British Sombo Federation (BSF); Filipino Martial Arts, and Jun Fan Martial Arts / JKD Concepts, under Rick Young (UK), and Rick Faye (USA); and in Savate, under the Great Britain Savate Federation (GBSF), and Professor Salem Assli (USA, & France). Ollie is also Author of the book: '
Combat Sombo - Russian Martial Art'.

John Harvey'Rapid John' Harvey
Co-founder of Kapitarian Martial Arts.

John is a 4 times former World Full-Contact Eskrima Stickfighting Champion, who began training 27 years ago in Wado Ryu Karate (reaching 3rd Degree Black Belt). His training has continued through the years, with international experts such as: Bob Breen, Dan Inosanto, Master Sken, Grand Master Ondo Carbunay, and many more martial artists around the world. Presently ranked 7th Degree Black Belt, John is currently Great Britain Team Coach for the Full-Contact Eskrima/Arnis Squad. Co-author of the book: 'At The Sharp End', a book on edged weapon defence.'
